European Data Protection Legislation – What it means for the Software Test process

Personal Data Protection under the GDPR & the Software Test Process

The European General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) will come into force on May 25th 2018, replacing the existing Data Protection legislation in all EU countries.
The GDPR introduces severe financial penalties for non-compliance, so it is imperative for organisations and consultants to familiarise with the regulation and prepare.
The GDPR marks some significant changes from current legislation, and some of these have a bearing on the test process.

There are two key strands:

•         Use of Personal Data as “live data” in test cases.
•         Obligations on information systems for implementing Data Privacy.

This short seminar takes participants through the key areas where the GDPR affects the Software Test Process.

Registration  & Refreshments will be served from 12.00noon
